| Headline: ZEBRA MUSSEL LINKS Below are links to various Zebra Mussel documents and information including the report from the Base Lake cleanup. These critters can take over the lake and destroy all habitat for fish, plants, and the eco system in general. We cannot afford to do what the Base Lake did, nor is it even possible. We must be sure to clean our boats with 140F degree water or above before we launch a boat in Beaver Lake if it has been in other bodys of water. Live wells, water intakes of outboard and inboard motors, the bilge, etc. must be throroughly washed. Just use common sense and help protect our beautiful lake from these invasive animals.
