I’ve been enjoying Beaver Lake since 1987 initially as a guest, then as a property owner, and for the past 10 years as a home owner. My family enjoys the lake, beach, and neighborhood. My oldest daughter graduated from Conestoga and my younger will be a senior this fall. Family, gardening, and fishing are my passion and I hit the lake for fishing an average of 60 days a year. I’ve been a member of the Lake, Fish, and Habitat committee or a Board rep to the committee for 15 years running. I’m the Beaver lake Fishing Club secretary and tournament director. I’ve also supported Beaver Lake fund raising activities in multiple ways for years.

My name is Sandy Battreall. My husband and I have been residents of Beaver Lake since February 2008. I am currently a member of the infrastructure committee. Since moving to Beaver Lake, I served on all the committees at the lake (but not at the same time). I served on the Beaver Lake Association Board of Directors for nine years and in those nine years held office of Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President.

My objective is to keep on improving Beaver Lake, as there are still a lot of improvements to our area.

My family and I have been full time residents of Beaver Lake for over 20 years. My wife, Heather, and our four girls have been serving the community, schools, and neighbors for all of those years. I love to do outdoor activities with family and friends. I have made a successful career of helping people secure their valuable assets. Trust, Mutual Respect and Accountability are my core values that I use to base my decisions and hold myself to. My objective is to create balance and keep in mind what is best for the majority of our community for the future. I would like to bring my insight and knowledge to serve on our board to bring together our community, employees, committees, and board members to be working in the same direction as one. We must seek to understand the past, work together and value the knowledge others have for the better good of our community. Please reach out to me about positive ideas to change our lake community for the future. I would like to thank you for your confidence in me to serve you on our board of directors.

My wife (Jill) and I moved to Beaver Lake in 2015. We have 4 grown daughters and are enjoying the empty nest at Beaver Lake. I always wanted to live on a good fishing lake and Jill grew up going to her cousin’s lake so we decided to make what has been a great move.

I have served on the Appeals Committee and look forward to serving on the Board of Directors now. I work from home helping people with their health and wellness and am pretty easy to get ahold of to listen to any concerns from our Beaver Lake community.

My name is Jon Baumgart, and I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Beaver Lake Association Board. Having called this beautiful community home since 1995, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing its growth and experiencing the unique charm it offers. Now, I am eager to give back and contribute to its continued success.

As one of the proud owners of the Beaver Lake Marina, I am deeply invested in the well-being of our lake and its surrounding areas. My daily interactions with fellow residents and visitors have given me valuable insights into the needs and concerns of our community.

From leisurely boat rides to peaceful fishing trips, I have always cherished the recreational opportunities Beaver Lake provides. I understand the importance of preserving our natural resources while enhancing the overall experience for everyone.

My decision to run for the Association Board stems from a genuine desire to serve. I believe in open communication, collaborative problem-solving, and proactive leadership. Together, we can ensure that Beaver Lake remains a place where families create lasting memories and friendships flourish.

I am committed to listening to your voices, advocating for your interests, and implementing positive changes where needed. Whether it’s improving infrastructure, enhancing safety measures, or fostering a stronger sense of community, I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.

With your support, I am confident that we can navigate the challenges ahead and embrace the opportunities that lie before us. Let’s work together to make Beaver Lake an even better place to live, play, and thrive.
