I’ve been enjoying Beaver Lake since 1987 initially as a guest, then as a property owner, and for the past 10 years as a home owner. My family enjoys the lake, beach, and neighborhood. My oldest daughter graduated from Conestoga and my younger will be a senior this fall. Family, gardening, and fishing are my passion and I hit the lake for fishing an average of 60 days a year. I’ve been a member of the Lake, Fish, and Habitat committee or a Board rep to the committee for 15 years running. I’m the Beaver lake Fishing Club secretary and tournament director. I’ve also supported Beaver Lake fund raising activities in multiple ways for years.

Since moving to Beaver Lake, I served on all the committees at the lake (but not at the same time). I served on the Beaver Lake Association Board of Directors for nine years and in those nine years held office of Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President.

My objective is to keep on improving Beaver Lake, as there are still a lot of improvements to our area.

Hello my name is Ron Prchal, I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed the beauty of Beaver Lake since I was a kid.  I have lived or have been connected to the community for 20+ years.  Most recently in 2018, my wife Jess and I decided that we wanted another piece of paradise and moved from a nearby acreage back to the lake.  I want to thank each and every member involved in making the lake community what it is today and now I would love to give back and represent you as a member of the Board of Directors.

I have a degree in Business from Wayne State College and developed a successful 30-year career working for fortune 500 companies in several leadership positions.

I am sharing my key strengths, which describe how I would represent as your Board Member.

  • Analytical – Ability to think about all of the factors that might affect a situation and decision.
  • Maximizer – Focus on ways to stimulate personal and group excellence, seek to transform something strong into something superb.
  • Responsibility – Take ownership of what I say I will do, committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty.
  • Relator – Enjoy close relationships and take deep satisfaction in working hard to achieve a goal.
  • Discipline – Drive for structure and keeping order.

I am a fiscal conservative and creative thinker who will make data driven and common sense decisions.  My goals are to protect the health, safety, property value and infrastructure of the lake and community.

My name is Brad Renner, and I am a candidate for the 2021 Beaver Lake Association Board of Directors. My family (wife Tabatha and son Wyatt) and I moved here the fall of 2016. I was born and raised in Plattsmouth.

I graduated from Southeast Community College Milford in 1996 with a degree Machine Tool Technology and have worked in the industry for 25 years now. The past 3 years I’ve been in a sales position that supplies the manufacturing industry.

Lake life has always been a dream of mine since I was a kid. My grandmother had a house at Chris and Hansen Lakes when I was growing up. I can remember spending weekends, holidays, and the whole summer there. Our family enjoyed the lake and community as well. I was heartbroken when she sold the place in my late teens. I made it my ambition to make it back to the lake.

We are year around residents. I see a lot of good things happening and believe I can be an asset to this great community. I want Beaver Lake to be a place where everyone can enjoy. This community is a place for all economic backgrounds. The diversity of people is what I feel makes things great. I want to make sure everyone is welcome. As a Board member I will make decisions based on the interests of the community as a whole while being transparent, open, and honest with the members of BLA that I will represent.

I will bring to the Board an open mind, common sense thinking, educated decisions, and fresh ideas. Being fiscally conservative with your money is important to me. As a Board member I will make informed decisions with community input to ensure your money is spent wisely while keeping the Association advancing forward in a cost-effective manner.

My wife (Jill) and I moved to Beaver Lake in 2015. We have 4 grown daughters and are enjoying the empty nest at Beaver Lake. I always wanted to live on a good fishing lake and Jill grew up going to her cousin’s lake so we decided to make what has been a great move.

I have served on the Appeals Committee and look forward to serving on the Board of Directors now. I work from home helping people with their health and wellness and am pretty easy to get ahold of to listen to any concerns from our Beaver Lake community.

My family and I have been full time residents of Beaver Lake for over 20 years. My wife, Heather, and our four girls have been serving the community, schools, and neighbors for all of those years. I love to do outdoor activities with family and friends. I have made a successful career of helping people secure their valuable assets. Trust, Mutual Respect and Accountability are my core values that I use to base my decisions and hold myself to. My objective is to create balance and keep in mind what is best for the majority of our community for the future. I would like to bring my insight and knowledge to serve on our board to bring together our community, employees, committees, and board members to be working in the same direction as one. We must seek to understand the past, work together and value the knowledge others have for the better good of our community. Please reach out to me about positive ideas to change our lake community for the future. I would like to thank you for your confidence in me to serve you on our board of directors.
