I’ve lived in Beaver Lake since 2009, but I’ve been in this area my entire life. I attended Conestoga Elementary and Junior High before moving as a teenager, but quickly found my way back to Cass County in my 20’s and have been here ever since.

I spend my summers on the lake where you’ll often find me tied up in Party Cove with friends and family. If you’re out there and see me don’t be shy, pull on up and have a beer with me! During the fall I spend countless hours sitting in a treestand bowhunting whitetail and enjoying the peace and quiet of the timber. I try to avoid the other two seasons altogether. 😉

In my day to day job I am a Sr. Front End Developer with Data Axle in Papillion where I lead front end (what you see on a website) development of several multi-million-dollar public facing product websites. Given my technical experience, I joined the BLA Web Steering Group in early 2019 and have since modernized and organized the Association’s website. I’ll continue to work towards bringing more services online for our community as well.

I look forward to serving on the Board of Directors and being a voice for all Association members. I’ll continue to work towards modernizing all aspects of the Association and its amenities. I feel strongly about community input in decision making for the Board and will always take your concerns and opinions into consideration when casting a vote. So, feel free to reach out to me directly with any concerns or questions.

I’ve been enjoying Beaver Lake since 1987 initially as a guest, then as a property owner, and for the past 10 years as a home owner. My family enjoys the lake, beach, and neighborhood. My oldest daughter graduated from Conestoga and my younger will be a senior this fall. Family, gardening, and fishing are my passion and I hit the lake for fishing an average of 60 days a year. I’ve been a member of the Lake, Fish, and Habitat committee or a Board rep to the committee for 15 years running. I’m the Beaver lake Fishing Club secretary and tournament director. I’ve also supported Beaver Lake fund raising activities in multiple ways for years.

In 2010 my husband (Joe) and I decided living at the lake was exactly where we wanted to be with our two children. Now, over 10 years later we are surrounded by a community of magnificent people who are considered family in our books. I am fortunate to live here and would be honored to give back to the community by representing you as a member of the Board of Directors.

Professionally, I am the executive director for the Cass County Nebraska Economic Development Council, serve as secretary for the Plattsmouth Schools Wall to Wall Advisory Board and Vice Chair the ESU #3 Workforce Advisory Committee.

There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with family and friends, either out on the water or sharing a meal together. Our oldest daughter (Kaitie) attends Buena Vista University, where she majors in elementary education and plays volleyball. Our son (Mason) attends Conestoga Junior High School and enjoys football, wrestling and track. Chester our loveable english bulldog cannot go without a mention and is always happy to greet friends and visitors.

I have been interested in Beaver Lake since the late 80s when my parents Bill and Jackie Barry moved here. I have always been very impressed with the beautiful lake and community we all live in. I’m very proud to be a Board member and I hope I can help, and keep Beaver Lake the beautiful and friendly place that we are all blessed to live in. I have been involved in the Utilities Committee that is now the Infrastructure Committee. I am also involved in the fishing club, plus I really enjoy volunteering my free time on anything for the betterment of our community. I like to spend time on the water in my pontoon. I have lived here for 5 years now and I am very happy to be involved in this wonderful community we all enjoy! I’m very proud to be a resident of Beaver Lake!

Hello my name is Ron Prchal, I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed the beauty of Beaver Lake since I was a kid.  I have lived or have been connected to the community for 20+ years.  Most recently in 2018, my wife Jess and I decided that we wanted another piece of paradise and moved from a nearby acreage back to the lake.  I want to thank each and every member involved in making the lake community what it is today and now I would love to give back and represent you as a member of the Board of Directors.

I have a degree in Business from Wayne State College and developed a successful 30-year career working for fortune 500 companies in several leadership positions.

I am sharing my key strengths, which describe how I would represent as your Board Member.

  • Analytical – Ability to think about all of the factors that might affect a situation and decision.
  • Maximizer – Focus on ways to stimulate personal and group excellence, seek to transform something strong into something superb.
  • Responsibility – Take ownership of what I say I will do, committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty.
  • Relator – Enjoy close relationships and take deep satisfaction in working hard to achieve a goal.
  • Discipline – Drive for structure and keeping order.

I am a fiscal conservative and creative thinker who will make data driven and common sense decisions.  My goals are to protect the health, safety, property value and infrastructure of the lake and community.

My name is Brad Renner, and I am a candidate for the 2021 Beaver Lake Association Board of Directors. My family (wife Tabatha and son Wyatt) and I moved here the fall of 2016. I was born and raised in Plattsmouth.

I graduated from Southeast Community College Milford in 1996 with a degree Machine Tool Technology and have worked in the industry for 25 years now. The past 3 years I’ve been in a sales position that supplies the manufacturing industry.

Lake life has always been a dream of mine since I was a kid. My grandmother had a house at Chris and Hansen Lakes when I was growing up. I can remember spending weekends, holidays, and the whole summer there. Our family enjoyed the lake and community as well. I was heartbroken when she sold the place in my late teens. I made it my ambition to make it back to the lake.

We are year around residents. I see a lot of good things happening and believe I can be an asset to this great community. I want Beaver Lake to be a place where everyone can enjoy. This community is a place for all economic backgrounds. The diversity of people is what I feel makes things great. I want to make sure everyone is welcome. As a Board member I will make decisions based on the interests of the community as a whole while being transparent, open, and honest with the members of BLA that I will represent.

I will bring to the Board an open mind, common sense thinking, educated decisions, and fresh ideas. Being fiscally conservative with your money is important to me. As a Board member I will make informed decisions with community input to ensure your money is spent wisely while keeping the Association advancing forward in a cost-effective manner.
